Waseda’s winning team with Professor Hiroyuki Nishide

On August 25, a team of students representing Waseda University finished in third place at the international division of this year’s 2015 TECO Green Tech Contest held in Taiwan.

The 2015 TECO Green Tech Contest is an international technology competition organized by Taiwan electronics giant TECO’s Technology Foundation. Twenty-one universities from nine countries participated in the competition including three from Japan (Kyushu University, University of Tokyo, and Waseda University).

Waseda’s team, comprised of students from the Leading Graduate Program in Science and Engineering, finished in third place and took home a prize of 5,000 US dollars.
