58,000 visitors experience Waseda at Open Campus 2015

Waseda University held its 2015 Open Campus for two days from August 1-2. Approximately 58,342 prospective students and guardians attended amidst the fierce summer heat. Information sessions, mock classes, individual consultation sessions, special programs from individual departments, and other events were held to give a taste of student life at Waseda that cannot be had by just looking at brochures or a website.

At student organized events, Waseda students passionately spoke about the appeals of Waseda while prospective students listened intently. The events were a huge success.
Prospective students were also greeted by performances from student circles and the Oendan cheer club. Circles cheered for prospective students, hoping to someday reunite at Waseda University. Prospective students surely walked away with a sense of what makes Waseda special.
