The other time efficiency advice

Modernity was a process of eliminating uncertainty. Or perhaps a better way to put it is this: Modernity was a process of increasing predictability. You search on a map app and find out how long it will take to get to a particular location. You then plan your actions based on that time. The more predictable something is, the more efficient society will be. In modern terms, that means better time efficiency.

I don't like the word "time efficiency." What exactly does "efficiency" mean? If you set the efficiency from the beginning, you can't expect any further efficiency. Human wisdom is limited. The goal you set at the beginning is not that great.

The same goes for life. A life that is constantly thinking about time efficiency would be boring.

The one thing you have in abundance as a student is time. In fact, time is the only thing you have. Why not try to immerse yourself in something without worrying about time while you're still a student?
