A city being built in the world by the "Minecraft Club"
There are approximately 500 officially recognized Waseda University student clubs. Student club members will introduce you to interesting topics such as what kind of activities they are involved in, their daily activities, presentations, and participation in tournaments.
Members actively interact with each other regardless of their skill level or grade level.

Minecraft is a sandbox game where players place blocks in a virtual space to build cities or go on adventures in created worlds. The Minecraft Club (hereinafter referred to as WaseMai), founded in 2023, focuses on playing Minecraft as its main activity, while its members also engage in various forms of interaction.
When you hear "game student club," you might get the impression that it's full of advanced players, but that's not actually the case. At Wasemai, there are many people who say things like, "I haven't played games since elementary school, but I joined out of nostalgia," or "I started playing games again after entering university."
I also started playing Minecraft when I started this student club with my friends, so I'm not very good at building or gathering resources in the world yet. Also, when playing at WaseMai, we don't have any special concepts or strict rules; we think it's more fun if members can build freely. So, if there is land that each person wants to use, they can consult with people who are building nearby, and everyone can build as they like.
In addition to the above, the club actively holds off-campus events such as training camps and social gatherings, and the frequent interaction among members regardless of their year level is one of its attractions. The content of events often originates from the ideas of student club participants, creating an atmosphere where everyone can freely enjoy themselves.

What makes WaseMai so appealing is not just the opportunity to play Minecraft, but also the way it fosters connections and friendships. It feels less like student club and more like a place to belong. I myself have received a lot of help from the members of WaseMai, and it's student club you can really feel the warmth and connection with people.

This student club has members from a variety of universities, faculties, and backgrounds. The many unique members make conversations endlessly entertaining, which is one of WaseMai's charms. Furthermore, volunteers frequently organize offline events, dinners, and birthday parties, making it easy to become friends quickly. I myself have made many friends through this club.

I joined WaseMai because I love Minecraft. There are so many interesting people here, so I have fun every day. WaseMai is the best place for me because I can be myself!
At WaseMai, we welcome anyone who loves Minecraft, regardless of grade level, to join at any time. Please check out our social media for updates!

When WaseMai was officially recognized, they held a "Congratulations Party," and they also hold events within Minecraft.
