Spring 2026 Edition: Must-see! Maps of the 4 main campuses [2026 enrollment commemorative edition]

Waseda University has four main campuses: Waseda, Toyama, Nishi-Waseda, and Tokorozawa. This time, we have prepared maps that not only show the layout of buildings on each campus, but also the locations of facilities frequently used by students, such as student lounges and libraries. Please use it to support your campus life!

Useful information to make campus life more fun!

Here’s some essential information about the campuses and facilities that you’ll want to know! Grab a map and explore the various facilities and services available.

Campus opening hours

In principle, Waseda, Toyama, and Nishi-Waseda are open from 8:00 to 22:30, and Tokorozawa is open from 8:00 to 22:00. However, please note that the gates close at 18:00 on weekends and holidays (excluding Nishi-Waseda and Tokorozawa). In addition, irregular hours apply during the long summer and spring holidays and the entrance exam period in February, so please check the Student Affairs Section website or MyWaseda.

How to apply for bicycle commuting to school and bicycle parking locations

Application requirements vary depending on the campus.

  • Waseda: No application required. Location: In front of Building 6 (north gate), in front of Building 17 (2nd west gate), and in front of the 1st west gate
  • Toyama: No application required. Location: In front of the Waseda University Student Center Building 30
  • Nishi-Waseda: Application required. Apply at the  General Affairs Section on the 1st floor of Building, and attach the special sticker you receive to your bicycle. The location will be confirmed when you apply.
  • Tokorozawa: No application required. Parking is available at the main gate or north gate. The main gate bicycle parking lot is open from 8:00 to 22:00 (21:30 on Sundays and holidays).

We also publish the "Waseda University Universal Design Map," which includes information on barrier-free access such as elevators and the locations of "universal toilets." For more information, click here.

Campus Facility Information ①: Libraries

In addition to the libraries on each campus, such as Central Library and Toyama Library, there are also Students' Reading Rooms in each faculty. For more information on how to use each library and other details, please check the library's official website.

Campus Facility Information ②: Museums & Cafes

There are five museums on Waseda campuses that showcase the appeal of art, history, theater, and sports. For more information, check out this article.

There are also several cafes such as the"Orange Cat" (Waseda Campus Building 4),"Café Clio"  (Waseda Campus Building 1),"Tully's Coffee"  (Nishi-Waseda Campus Building 55-2, "Starbucks Coffee"   (Toyama Campus Building 37),  so be sure to find your favorite spot!

Campus Facility Information ③:Convenience stores, rest areas

In addition to cafes and cafeterias run by student cooperatives, there are also convenience stores and bakeries where you can buy boxed lunches and light meals. Check out the article below for more details!
