This word doesn't make much sense in Japanese, but in English it's Public Health Mind. Public means "people," Health means "health," and in a broader sense, it means "happiness," and Mind means "heart." I understand Public Health Mind to mean "the desire to contribute to people's health and happiness."
There are many people in the world who find meaning in life and make a living by contributing to the health and happiness of others. When you hear the words "public health," the first occupation that comes to mind is the medical profession. However, there are many other occupations like that. In fact, most occupations contribute to the health and happiness of others.
If more people realized this, were grateful for it, and aspired to achieve it, the world would surely become a much better place than it is now.
