ICC’s highly popular Japan-China-Korea: Speak Your Mind Camp was held online for two years due to the pandemic, but it’s finally back to a two-day in-person event.
About 70% of international students at Waseda are from China and Korea. The three nations are neighbors geographically and closely tied together from ancient times.
Although they seem to have similar culture, they actually have many differences once you take a closer look.

If these thoughts ring true with you, this is a great chance to get to know each other.
The event features multiple activities, such as:
- Image Wall to discuss impressions of each country
- Island Talk where participants from various topics to discuss
- Traditional Games Competition where participants make groups and compete in each country’s traditional games
We’ve planned this event as an opportunity to find similarities and differences between these three countries and understand each other.

*Some light physical activities are planned for Day 2 (2/10). Please wear clothes that are comfortable to move around in. Also, please bring sneakers for indoor activities (either shoes never worn outdoors or wash the soles before coming).
