Do you have interest in Sweden? A country in northern Europe, once the land of Vikings, now it is famous for its advanced economy and high gross national happiness rating. Sweden is a country full of attractions, including historical architecture of the well-preserved medieval cityscapes and breathtaking natural scenes like the aurora borealis.
You may know that the Nobel Prizes, one of the world’s highest honors, are presented in Sweden every December. Did you also know that many world-famous corporations like H&M and IKEA are rooted in Sweden?
Coming up at the ICC we will have an online exchange cafe event with students from the prestigious Lund University!
Lund is a public university in southern Sweden founded in 1666. With more than 640 partner schools in over 70 countries around the world, it has many international students and many classes conducted in English. These Lund students are also studying Japanese, so you can interact with them in Japanese as well!
In this event, learn more about Swedish culture and students’ extracurricular activities, through a fun quiz, presentations and chatting, and also introduce your own culture!
While there are many restrictions on travel and study abroad these days, this is a great chance to interact with students overseas online. Sign up now!
