For this program Waseda students will get to spend a day chatting in English with pupils at a Waseda affiliated elementary school.
No Japanese language skills or advance preparation is required! Just enjoy chatting with the kids! The program is a great opportunity to see what Japanese school life is like and is ideal for those interested in cross-cultural education, volunteering and exchanging with Japanese pupils.

“What we think might be useful information for you to know about our country”.
The students will be preparing to tell you about what they think will be good to know about life in Japan and talk about cultural differences.
Eligibility
Waseda Students who can speak English.
(Native level fluency is NOT required)

6 international students and 6 Japanese students
(A lottery will be held if applicants exceed the capacity)

Note
*ICC staff will not accompany participants on to this event.
*Transportation expenses will be provided by the school.
*Although this is a volunteer program, participants will be a part of a class at scheduled time for a school, and so dropping out of the program or being late is not acceptable.
