The venue for this event has been changed to Okuma Garden House (Bldg. 25, 1F).
The ICC is holding a “Middle Eastern Night” to focus on the 3 major languages (Arabic, Turkish and Persian) and culture of Middle Eastern countries.
– What kind of countries and places are in the Middle East?
– What is Middle Eastern culture like?
– What kind of languages are spoken in the Middle East?
– I want to know more about Middle Eastern languages (Arabic, Turkish or Persian)!
For those thinking of the above, there is good news!
At this event we have invited Waseda international students who speak one of three major languages spoken in the Middle East, (Arabic, Turkish or Persian) to give a short presentation about their language and culture.
After the presentation, we have prepared a small Middle East-related mini-bingo game and quiz.
At different tables you can mix and chat with international students from Middle Eastern countries.
Let’s learn more about the Middle East while enjoying games together.
It’s OK if you know nothing about Middle Eastern languages and culture!
Let’s learn about countries and languages we didn’t know before and broaden our horizons before the summer holiday!
