Did you know that famous people ranging from Beyonce to Brad Pitt and Leonardo Da Vinci to Albert Einstein were all vegetarians?
People become vegetarian for all sorts of reasons, whether for health, religion or compassion for animals.
Now the ICC is hosting an “English Lunch with Vegetarian Students” on July 5th.
This event aims to help to improve understanding of vegetarians and vegetarian culture and broaden the perspectives of Waseda students.
A vegetarian presenter will introduce his reasons for being a vegetarian and talk about what it is like living as a vegetarian in Japan.
After the presentation, we will have a mixing time with English speaking Waseda student supporters where you can casually talk about your thoughts on vegetarian culture.
And that’s not all! The first 40 participants can also enjoy a free snack from a local vegetarian restaurant!
This is a valuable chance to think about different lifestyles and learn more about vegetarian culture!
Please come along and join us!
