ICC Bamboo Shoot Digging & Networking Cafe @ Tokorozawa Campus (2018)

Early spring is the season of bamboo shoots. Come join this special trip to the scenic Tokorozawa campus! After the bamboo shoot digging, you’ll have free lunch in the Tokorozawa Cafeteria followed by a networking event with other students.

<What are Bamboo Shoots?>
The tender, crisp, ivory-colored shoot of an edible species of bamboo plant. They are used in numerous Asian dishes and broths.

April 21nd (Sat), 2018   10:40am – 3:00pm

Place

Tokorozawa Campus (Event starts and ends on the campus. Also, we will hold the event even if there’s light rain on the day.)

Fees

Free! (Transportation fee is the responsibility of the participant. 370 yen from Takadanobaba station to Kotesashi station on the Seibu Shinjuku line)

40 (In the event of a large number of applications are received, a random lottery will be held)

12:30pm –  1:30pm  Lunch*
1:30pm –  3:00pm  Networking Cafe
*Boiled rice mixed with sliced bamboo shoot, etc.
