Would you like to casually chat about what makes your home country special, while at the same time learning about other cultures and customs?
In your country who pays on the first date?
How common is working overtime?
Which side of the road do you drive on?
Is university expensive or is it free?
This event brings together Waseda students of all nationalities to discuss and learn about each other’s countries and cultures.
Find out how we’re different (unique traits) but more importantly how many things we have in common (shared traits)!
This is a unique way to meet both international and local students.
Teams will be grouped according to language so you can choose whether you want to practice your Japanese skills or simply enjoy chatting in English!
Wanna discover things you won’t find in any book? Then sign up now!
Program:
1) International students and local students are grouped together and asked to find and discuss three traits their countries have in common and three traits that are different.
2) Afterwards a representative from each group will present these facts to everyone!
3) We’ll then change seats and topics for round two!
