Would you like to meet and interact with students from Misato Junior High School in Misatomachi, Saitama Prefecture?
You’ll get to pick fresh and delicious Misatomachi Blueberries and after lunch you’ll be treated to some performances by the Junior High Students.
Also you’ll answer the students’ English questions and interact withthem throughout the day!
These junior high students are starting think about their own futures and are really looking forward to meeting Waseda students.
Feel free to share with them your campus life stories and international students can even introduce them to your home countries!
So if you’re an international student who’s interested in interacting with Japanese junior high students and sharing your culture with them then this is the program for you! Sign up now!
*Lunch for the event will be Soba noodles and Tempura with rice. Tempura will be shrimps, eggplants, pumpkins, and green peppers.

8:30am Meet @ Waseda University & take bus to Misatomachi
10:00am Stop by at Waseda Honjo Campus
(Only if Honjo Students participate, return trip also)
11:00am-12:00pm Blueberry Picking
12:00-1:00pm Lunch (Tempura with rice & Soba set)
1:00-3:15pm Exchange time with Junior High Students

- Rakugo (Comic Story) Performance (Japanese/English)
3:30pm Exchange time finishes. Return to Waseda
(Estimated) 5:00pm Arrive at Waseda University & finish
Requirements
Students who can communicate in simple Japanese and English.

Around 15 students (In the event that a large number of applications are received, a random lottery will be held to select participants.）

For this event we have very kindly been invited by the Misatomachi
Board of Education and so once your participation has been confirmed
cancellation is not possible. Therefore please only apply for this
event if you are sure you can attend on the actual day (Aug. 4).
