It’s been over half a century since the Cuban Revolution, yet colorful buildings from the colonial era still line the streets where people gather to dance to lively music.
Cubans themselves are said to be passionate, cheerful, sociable and incredibly welcoming to foreign visitors.
In fact when asked what exactly is Cuba’s charm, the most common answer is “the people”!
At the ICC Cuban Festival there’ll be a travel talk from one of Waseda’s own students, a salsa dance performance and even some snacks and drinks! So why not come along and get a taste of the Pearl of the Caribbean?
There are international students from over 100 countries currently studying at Waseda yet unfortunately there are no Cubans among them.
So why not use this rare opportunity to hear directly from staff from the Cuban Ambassador and view beautiful photos on display at the venue!
