In an era shaped by rapid technological advancement and urbanization, efficiency is often prioritized over other values. It’s becoming more important to revisit a timeless question: What does it mean to live a happy life?
This ICC Talk Session focuses on Denmark—a country known for placing people at the center of its social systems, from welfare and education to urban design and the workplace.
Through a talk by researcher Dr. Yasuoka, who works across both Denmark and Japan, and an interactive workshop, you will explore the Nordic concept of well-being, grounded in real-world examples.
We’ll also offer a cozy moment of hygge, the Danish style of comfort and togetherness. Enjoy a traditional Nordic Christmas drink while engaging in warm conversation with fellow participants.
Let’s talk about what a “happy society” means to each of us, and how we can apply it to the community around us. We look forward to welcoming you!
