Let’s try on beautiful yukata, walk the garden and learn Japanese traditional dance!
In this event, you can wear a traditional yukata with the members of Waseda Wakamono Kimono club.
Then, we’ll enjoy a walk through the Okuma Garden, surrounded by beautiful grass flowers & ideal spots for taking nice photos with new friends.
Last but not least, the famous performer and teacher, Ms. Caari Koide, will teach us traditional Japanese dance and we can dance together!

Performer of modern Japanese dance. Head of the Oukoukai school of dance. Began studying the Matsuba style of Japanese dance from the age of two. At the age of 15, she became the youngest person ever to obtain teaching qualifications. She now works globally including coaching winners of the Miss International Beauty Pageant. Also influenced by the Aoi style of dance, she is known for her own “Koide” style. Ms. Koide currently teaches a modern style of Japanese dance to young people while also paying homage to the classic styles.
