For this ICC talk session, we have invited Ms. Chiaki Kawamura from Singapore Prime Business Consultancy Pte Ltd. a consulting company that assists Japanese businesses seeking to expand to Singapore, to give an online talk session. A country of great diversity, Ms. Kawamura has been living and doing business in Singapore for many years and will speak about her real experiences of multiculturalism and the intercultural understanding necessary for doing business there.

Guest Profile: Ms. Chiaki Kawamura
Managing Director of Prime Business Consultancy Pte Ltd. Graduated Bachelor of Economics from Meiji University. Joined a foreign investment bank in Tokyo and worked there for 10 years. Moved to Singapore in 1996, joined an emergency medical service company headquarters in Singapore and did marketing for them in the Asia-Pacific region. Afterwards, joined one of the largest head-hunting companies in Asia; HRnet One Pte Ltd. and worked in the Singapore head office as Regional Director for 3 and half years, then in the Tokyo head office for 3 years after that. Worked as a specialist in recruiting for managerial positions in Japanese and Western companies. Returned to Singapore in November 2006 and founded Prime Search International. Founded Prime Business Consultancy Pte Ltd. in 2009.
