Hinduism…
– Isn’t that the religion of India?
– The one in which you can’t eat pork or beef?
For those that want to know more about Hinduism, this is the event for you!
There are actually around 900 million Hindu people in the world today. However, “Hinduism” has a different meaning to each person in terms of culture and practice, which cannot be summarized in just one word. So at the ICC we are holding the “ICC Hindu Lunch” to show Hindu culture from our student’s point of view.
This time we are inviting Hindu students enrolled in Waseda University as guests. It is a great chance to hear real stories from Hindu students about their daily lives and the younger generation’s religious views which might not be in your textbook.
And that’s not all, we also have some casual chat time with some snacks from Bali Island and India (first 15 people only) for you to enjoy.
This lunch time is packed full of things you want to know about the charm of Hindu culture.
You don’t need to know anything about Hinduism, and you’re more than welcome to come by yourself or bring along your friends!
