The ICC English Discussion Cafe is a gathering where both undergraduates and graduates from all faculties and cultural backgrounds have the opportunity to come together and discuss important issues in English.
For this semester, our collaboration event with Tokyo Medical and Dental University will be on the theme of “How to Reduce Stress.”
Within our social lives, we tend to face many factors that cause stress. In recent years, social issues such as an increasing number of students refusing to go to school and Hikikomori (people who withdraw from society) have arisen due to a sudden increase in mental and physical diseases that result from stress, and this has become a major issue in both offices and schools.
What kinds of countermeasures exist to prevent these negative effects from stress? What can we do to reduce stress?
As with previous discussion cafes organized by the TMDU and the ICC, students with various backgrounds from both schools will join this event, so you will have the chance to learn new ideas and values.
If you want to practice expressing your thoughts in English, or discuss interesting topics with students from other universities, then please come and join the ICC English Discussion Cafe!
