Stretching from the Arctic Circle all the way to Central Europe, Scandinavia is renowned for its magnificent scenery, its unspoilt nature and of course the famous Northern Lights. Its education and welfare systems are envied by even the most developed nations and according to recent studies its people are said to be among the happiest in the world.
Although we admire these countries from afar, what do we really know about their cultures, societies and what makes each one special?
For this ICC event, exchange students from Denmark, Norway and Sweden will showcase their countries and cultures through presentations, photos and even Christmas crafts. Afterwards there’ll be a cafe exchange time where you can directly chat with Scandinavian students currently studying at Waseda.
So whether you’re interested in Denmark, Norway or Sweden, or even if you’d like to practice your English, then don’t miss this fun Culture Cafe!
