Famous for its magnificent scenery, its friendly people and of course its traditional culture, literature and music that’s renowned all over the globe.
While it is well known that Ireland has a large body of mythological writing, it has also given the world more modern writers such as Samuel Beckett, James Joyce, Oscar Wilde, and of course W.B. Yeats, whose works have defied borders and captured the hearts of people from nation to nation.
As part of the global celebration of the 150th anniversary of the birth of W.B. Yeats, the ICC is holding this special evening event where you can hear a speech from the Irish Ambassador, an introductory lecture to Irish Culture & Literature and finally there’ll be a reception with live Irish music performances and refreshments. Don’t miss this rare chance to discover Irish culture and literature!
