ICC is having a Welcome Festa, with multiple events for new students.
Make new friends, get essential info about student life, and get your Spring semester at Waseda off to the right start!

Welcome Party
- Dates: 9/26 （No pre-registration needed! ）
- Place: Waseda Campus, Building 3, 1st floor, Howard Hagiya Memorial International Student Lounge
On entrance ceremony day, why not make your very first “connections” at Waseda?
It’s a great chance to meet not only fellow new students, but also international and current Waseda students!
Enjoy snacks and drinks while chatting freely, and join in fun activities with prizes.

Campus Photo Adventure @Waseda & Toyama Campus (Currently in preparation)
- Date: 10/14 (Deadline: 10/7, 9:00 AM)
Would you like to have an adventure on campus with your fellow local and international students? You will form teams and complete various missions, such as taking a selfie with Okuma statue or making a jump shot in front of the main gate. We have prizes for the winning team!
Rice Harvesting @Tokorozawa Campus (Currently in preparation)
- Dates: 10/3 (Deadline: 9/27, 9:00 AM)
Have you ever harvested rice before?
Join us at the verdant Tokorozawa Campus and give it a try!
Come and enjoy a great experience in nature with us!
Language Lunches (Currently in preparation)
- Several Days in October (No pre-registration needed! )
You can chat casually in a specific language during lunchtime. For new students, it is a great opportunity to try out an ICC event.
By joining, there are so many things you can experience, such as meeting new people and learning about other countries.
Japanese Tea Party (Currently in preparation)
Enjoy a Japanese tea experience with matcha making!
Learn about the history and characteristics of Japanese tea, sample several types, and enjoy traditional sweets.
Sip your tea while chatting and connecting with other participants, and deepen your understanding of Japanese culture.
