In recent years, the “Korean Wave” as it’s known, has swept the globe
with its catchy pop songs, addictive dramas and dazzlingly beautiful idols.
Nowadays Korean TV shows are watched all around the world and KPOP concerts are popping up in far flung places like Europe and the Americas.
This entertainment revolution has inspired the ICC to hold its first ever Korean Party! This event will have lots of different themed “corners”, showcasing several aspects of Korean culture in a fun and interactive way.
Participation is of course free and you’re welcome to wander around all the “corners” and experience as much of this incredible country as possible!
Listen to the new kpop music and chat with other fans in the KPOP Corner!
Play some traditional Korean games like Yunnori and Gong-gi in the Game Corner!
Learn some basic phrases or practice your Hangul in the Korean Language Corner!
And of course try some delicious Korean snacks in the Food Corner!
So whether you’re a die-hard KPOP fan, an avid traveler or just interested in meeting some Korean students and enjoying a fun packed cultural evening, then drop by! Everybody’s welcome to join the party!
