A trail of stories.
What is “Out of Eden Walk” as told by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and National Geographic Explorer Paul Salopek and one of National Geographic Society’s storytelling projects?
The Out of Eden Walk is Paul’s journey where he walks the same trail as our ancestors following the pathways of the first humans who migrated out of Africa in the Stone Age and examines the major stories of our time, from climate change and technological innovation to mass migration and shifting cultural identity.
This time, we will invite Paul Salopek to share his insights on “What it means to be human” and “How culture has continuously evolved,” based on his adventures.
This is a great opportunity to learn more about the topics of global media, cross-cultural communications and human anthropology with Paul. Expand your perspective about humanity and its cultural diversity throughout human evolution and the importance of media and journalism in regard to preserving cultures.
