Welcome Café
- Dates: 9/18~10/15 (8 times)
・I want to get over my nerves about this new environment….
・I want to get to know students from different countries and make new friends.
・I want to talk and exchange information about classes, student clubs, part-time jobs.
・I want to know about the ICC and what they do there.

Campus Photo Adventure @ Waseda & Toyama Campus
- Dates: 10/2, 10/22
Would you like to have an adventure on campus with your fellow Japanese and international students?
This time, we will include missions on both Waseda and Toyama Campuses, such as “Selfie with Okuma Statue”, “Jump shot in front of the main gate”, etc. And we have prizes for the winning team!
It’s a great chance to explore the campus and make new friends.
Rice Harvesting

Have you ever harvested rice?
Come to this event at the verdant Tokorozawa Campus and try it!
After the harvesting, you can also participate in a mud race across the rice paddy.
Come have fun together in nature!
Language Lunches
- Dates: 10/8~31
You can chat casually in a specific language during lunchtime. For new students, it is a great opportunity to try out an ICC event.
By joining, there are so many things you can experience, such as meeting new people and learning about other countries.

Wagashi
- Date: 11/7
Wagashi (Japanese confectionery) has been enjoyed since the Edo period. Each season in Japan has unique wagashi that express seasonal themes through design and ingredients.
We will host a hands-on wagashi class with an instructor from the renowned Kagurazaka Baikatei. You’ll learn to make “A Leaf of Ivy” by wrapping bean paste balls in colored dough. After crafting your sweets, you can enjoy eating them while socializing and taking pictures.

Tea Party
- Date: 11/11
What do you usually drink? While water is essential for life, there are many ways to hydrate. Tea is popular in various countries, including the UK and China, and Japan also has a rich tradition of diverse teas enjoyed since ancient times.
This event features presentations and tastings where you can learn about the history and characteristics of Japanese tea. Join us to experience several types of Japanese tea and deepen your understanding while interacting with others.
You’ll also have the opportunity to try making matcha tea yourself!
