2018年11月21日、GLFPの授業科目（Global Leadership Fellows Forum）において、ゲストスピーカーとして国際連合食糧農業機関（FAO）日本事務所 所長チャールズ・ボリコ氏（Dr. Mbuli Charles Boliko）をお迎えして、世界の食糧安全保障の現状と課題についてご講演いただきました。ご講演後には、GLFP5期生の学生から多くの質問が寄せられ、FAOの活動内容、市民の役割、食糧問題解決のための取組みに関してご説明いただくとともに、リーダーシップのあり方と実践についてアドバイスをいただきました。
On November 21, 2018, we had a guest speaker in Global Leadership Fellows Forum. Dr. Mbuli Charles Boliko, Director of Liaison Office in Japan, Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations gave a lecture on food security in the world and discussed the role of citizens to work for food loss and waste in a global society. After the lecture, Dr. Boliko answered various questions by GLFP students in the 5th cohort, such as the activities of FAO, responsibility of global citizens, practice for food security, career planning in international organizations, and also gave an advice on the leadership to the students.
