以下の条件をすべて満たすこと

1. 学年要件：原則学部1年生のみ
   ※ 9月入学のケースなど2年生以上の学生で参加を希望する場合でも、プログラム修了まで在学する意思がある（延長生となる可能性が高い）場合は、応募が可能です。
2. 成績要件：応募時GPA最低3.0以上
3. 語学要件：応募時にTOEFL iBTまたはIELTSにて受入大学要件を満たすスコアを取得済みであること（スコア／受験日／氏名 記載の証明書提出 ）
   －TOEFL iBT: TOEFL-ITP/My Best Scores/Home Edition/Essentialは不可。
   －IELTS：Academic moduleにて。コンピューター版、ペーパー版いずれも可。Indicator不可。

語学要件については、学内出願時にGLFP募集対象大学内の最低点を満たしている場合は応募可能です。ただし学内選考後、派遣候補大学への出願時（2027年1～2月）迄には、必ず派遣候補先大学の語学要件を満たす証明書を提出することが条件です。達しない場合は、いずれかの大学への派遣候補者に選ばれた後であっても、派遣候補大学への出願は不可となります。なお、他の応募者が語学要件を満たしている場合はそちらが優先されるため、学内出願時にGLFP募集対象大学の語学要件を満たしている方が有利と言えます。GPAについては、学内出願時から派遣候補大学への出願時まで、派遣候補大学のGPA要件を満たしている必要があります。

GLFP applicants must meet all of the following conditions:

1. Academic year requirement: Only first-year undergraduate students, in principle
   * In the case of September enrollment, students in their second year or above who wish to participate in the program may apply if they intend to remain in the program until its completion. Please note that this is highly likely to delay graduation.
2. GPA requirement: A minimum GPA of 3.0 at the time of application.
3. Language proficiency requirement: At the time of application, applicants must have already obtained a TOEFL-iBT or IELTS score that meets the language proficiency requirements of the receiving university. Applicants must submit a certificate that includes their name, score, and date of examination.
   -TOEFL iBT: TOEFL-ITP/My Best Scores/Home Edition/Essential scores are not accepted.
   -IELTS (Academic module only): Computer-based and paper-based versions are both accepted. Indicator scores are not accepted.

Note: Applicants who meet the minimum scores of the GLFP universities can apply. However, after the internal selection, applicants must submit proof of meeting the language requirements of the candidate university by the time of application (January-February 2027). If applicants do not meet the language proficiency requirements by that time, they will not be able to apply to any candidate universities, even if they have been selected as a candidate for a particular university. Please note that if other applicants meet the language requirements, they will be given priority. Therefore, at the time of the application at Waseda, it is advantageous to already meet the language requirements of the GLFP universities. As for the GPA requirements, check carefully to make sure that you meet the GPA requirements of the candidate university throughout the time of application at both Waseda and the candidate university.

GLFPは他プログラムとの併願が可能です。ただし、GLFPを第一志望で選択することが必要です。GLFPの最終選考を通過し派遣候補生に選ばれた時点で、他のプログラムの選考からは外れます。

GLFP applicants can apply for other programs as well as GLFP however, applicants must select GLFP as their first choice when submitting their WEB application. Once an applicant passes the interview and is selected as a GLFP nominee, he/she will not be able to continue the selection procedures for other programs.

出願時点では、あくまでもGLFPへの出願になります。GLFP参加校内の具体的な志望校については出願必要書類の志望理由書の中で志望動機と共に述べてください。ただしGLFP対象校のうち、志望校以外への派遣候補者となることもあるので、あらかじめその点をよく理解した上で出願して下さい。

Please note that at the time of the WEB application registration, all applicants will apply for GLFP, but not for a specific university. The applicant may later express his/her preferred choice of university in the English statement of purpose essay along with the application materials to be submitted. However, please note that, while the faculty and staff administrators of the program will do their best to give nominees their first choice, this may not be possible in all cases.

選考の一環として、通常の留学プログラムへの出願書類の他にGLFPへの出願書類提出が必要です。書類選考通過者は面接試験を受ける必要があるため、GLFP秋募集（2025年10月締切分）のスケジュールをよく確認して下さい。

Submission of GLFP Statement of Purpose is necessary in order to apply for this program even if you have not completed the web application.
