2019年7月3日にGLFP 5期生（本学学生・米国留学生）による研究報告会を開催しました。GLFP学生報告会は、GLFP授業科目「グローバル・リーダーシップ・フェローズ・フォーラム」の研究成果の報告として実施しています。今年度は、GLFP5期生全員で、サスティナビリティ（持続可能性）をテーマに、ファスト・ファッションの事例について研究発表を行いました。<br>
衣料の原料生産、商品の製造から消費の過程における環境問題、人権問題、SNSを通じた情報共有による消費行動への影響に関する現状と課題に関して報告を行いました。国際機関・政府によるガイドラインの策定と実施、企業の社会的責任（CSR）を通じた環境・人権に配慮した経済活動の推進とともに、消費者としての個人の意識と行動による課題解決について提案を行いました。学生の報告後には、来場者の方より、報告に対するコメントとともに多くの質問が寄せられました。
The 5th Annual GLFP Students’ Public Presentation was held at Ono Auditorium on July 3, 2019. GLFP students (Waseda and partner universities in the U.S.) presented their research project on sustainability with analysis of fast fashion industry. Students reported their research on multiple dimensions of the industry, including environment, human rights, and media. They discussed possible approaches with focus on policies, corporate social responsibility, and the roles of consumers in order to attain a sustainable global society. After the presentation, many participants gave comments and questions to the presentation by the GLFP students.
