Even if you have no clear vision about your future, I strongly recommend you applying to GLFP; because I was also the one with unclear vision. When I was a freshman, I was vaguely thinking I wanted to solve global issues in the future. Through the experiences in GLFP including a year in UC Berkeley, I had many chances to speak as a representative of Japan and to think about not only global issues but also issues of my own country. These opportunities had me convinced that taking leadership in solving issues of Japan is also one type of “global leadership”; which is exactly what I wanted to pursue. Therefore, I could choose my next path without any hesitation thanks to GLFP. That is why I really want you to apply to GLFP even without a clear future vision.

Study Abroad Student Adviser

The Study Abroad Student Adviser is a team of volunteer members who have at least a year of study abroad experience with programs offered by the Center for International Education at Waseda University.
Main purpose is to give prospective study abroad students advise based on our own experiences.
