As a graduating student, I can assure that the GLFP experience assists passionate and diligent students in challenging their own viewpoints and limits, both quintessential skills for future global leaders in a world of ever-changing demands and opportunities. The key difference between GLFP and other programs is the special curriculum before and after the one-year exchange. Throughout the four years, I closely interacted with other top-tier but hardworking students who have different interests and backgrounds, on a daily basis. Thus, experiences of discussing constructively with students of conflicting views and learning about their eye-opening accomplishments as well as hardships could not be avoided; in fact, occurred day-to-day. The former discussions enabled me to develop a habit of eliminating preconceptions and thoroughly comprehending and accepting the underlying context/background of a situation or opinion. The latter peer motivation from other students striving to achieve their individual goals pushed me to jump out of my comfort zone and bring forth the best in myself. There is not a day I regret joining the GLFP community. If you are debating whether to apply or not, definitely do so because even the application process itself will allow you to crystallize your passions and actions. GLFP welcomes ambitious and self-driven students like you who are willing to or are already making contributions to society!
