【日本企業を知るシリーズ】２０２４年度 第１回：野村證券
2023年度にはトヨタ自動車、ファーストリテイリング、富士通をお招きし、早稲田大学の留学生限定で業界研究イベントを開催しました。2024年度にも様々な業界から、代表する企業をお招きして行きますが、今回は金融・證券業界について、グローバルにビジネス展開される野村證券をお招きします。
同社には毎年多くの早大卒業生を採用していただいており、多くの外国人材が活躍されています。つきましては、採用担当者から同社の経営理念や外国籍人材の採用方針、人材育成の考え方等をご紹介いただくほか、現役の外国籍社員(早稲田卒業生)も登壇し、就職活動当初の経験や野村證券に入社した決め手、仕事のやりがい等を語っていただきます。留学生の皆様にとっては、グローバル企業の経営戦略や外国籍人材の採用等について、理解を深めることができる貴重な機会です！
就職活動は自己分析と業界研究からスタートしますが、その業界研究の一環として、自身のキャリア形成を考えるきっかけとして、ぜひご参加ください。

内容
金融・證券業界を切り口に、野村證券の経営理念、外国籍人材の採用方針、人材育成の他、外国籍社員の目線で見た会社もご紹介します。またQAセッションを通じて野村證券の外国籍社員(早稲田卒業生)と意見交換ができます。なお、本イベントはキャリア教育啓発プログラムと位置付け、企業の採用活動との関係はありません。

NOMURA Securities visits international students in Waseda
In 2023, we invited TOYOTA, FAST RETAILING and FUJITSU to carry out “Knowing Japanese Companies” in order to deepen your understanding of different industries and companies. In June of 2024, we will invite NOMURA Securities, the global developer of Finance & Securities industry to hold a face-to-face event exclusively for international students at Waseda.
NOMURA Securities has recruited many graduates from Waseda every year, including international talents. Therefore, Staff from NOMURA Securities will introduce about their business as well as strategic vision, recruitment policy for international talents. You will also have a chance to meet young NOMURA Securities ‘s staff graduated from Waseda to hear about their job-hunting experiences, reason to join NOMURA Securities and so on.
