The Faculty of Sport Sciences at Waseda University welcomed two visitors from Zhejiang University, China on Friday, July 28th, 2023.
The faculty concluded a departmental agreement with the International School of Design at the University in 2022 and one of the alumni from the Graduate School of Sport Sciences is currently in a teaching position at that university.
Professor Cheng Yao, Dean of International School of Design and Associate Professor Hui Lyu, who is in charge of lectures at the school, visited the Higashi Fushimi campus this time. After Professor Yao explained the curriculum and current initiatives at Zhejiang University, the Waseda faculties and the delegates proactively exchanged ideas on bilateral collaboration in research and mutual dispatches of students. The faculty hopes the visit will lead to further research collaborations and interacting with our faculties and students in the future.
