Abstract:

This symposium focuses on the latest developments in Germany, such as whether or not the civil liability in the event of an accident involving automated driving should be revised in relation to the fact that users of automated vehicles have entered into a passenger transport contract on a MaaS platform. Then this symposium considers the relationship with the civil liability of MaaS platformers and discuss whether civil liability for accidents involving automated driving after the construction of MaaS should be borne by anyone in any form, and what the victim relief should be.
