【Purpose and Concept】
This symposium invites two internationally renowned European experts to lecture on the legal theory of contract law and dispute resolution law based on the world’s most advanced international business practices. This symposium also provides an opportunity for Japanese scholars, practitioners, and students to engage in discussions and mutual learning.

【Abstract】
Based on the latest practical business and legal theory surrounding international transactions, the symposium covers (1) international contract law (trends in each country regarding the modernization of international contract law based on the CISG, applicability of the CISG to the latest legal issues (data protection, SDGS, digitization, AI self-driving, latest semiconductor technology, etc.)) and (2) the current situation and issues of international dispute resolution law (the latest information on arbitration and mediation), and there will be an opportunity for discussion with Japanese participants.
