On March 7, 2024, Professor Detey was a Guest Speaker at the Hautes Etudes Internationales & Politiques HEIC – Bordeaux campus to talk about his book “Do we really know how to speak”. Around 100 undergraduate and postgraduate students specialized in International Business and Diplomacy attended Prof. Detey’s Open Lecture and asked many stimulating and intellectually sharp questions about language, communication, and their impact on social and political issues. The event was organized by Pierre Mourlevat, a graduate of the prestigious ENA, Director of the International Business and Diplomacy MA program at HEIP, as well as the Illustratus Civis Students’Association, (rep. by Valentine Nicolle and Paul Brothé).
