On December 3, Greg Dvorak was invited by the Asia Society to be a guest speaker at their global summit in Tokyo, where he made a presentation, “Art and Resilience,” on a panel with three professional artists on his latest research on postcolonial art and resistance in between the Pacific and Japan, with reference to his new book ‘Coral and Concrete’ and forthcoming articles. The session was widely attended by scholars, cultural workers, business leaders, and politicians from around Asia and the Pacific.
