Waseda University Museum Week 2023:
The Unexpected Is Waiting For You

Hi everyone! Welcome to the Waseda University! I hope everyone gets used to their face-to-face university life. It is really happy to see more new students in the campus! I am Yunying Chai, a member of Student Advisers for WasedaCulture(SAWC). Our job as Student Advisers is to spread and create Waseda’s culture.
Do you know that currently there are six cultural institutions at Waseda University?! Including the Waseda International House of Literature (The Haruki Murakami Library) which was opened two years ago, the Tsubouchi Memorial Theatre Museum (Enpaku), the Aizu Museum, the Waseda University History Museum, the Waseda Sports Museum, and the Honjo-Waseda No Mori Museum. The Museum Week aims to spread Waseda culture and hope more people could feel the charm of Waseda’s cultural institutions.
This post is especially for international students(or visitors) who love to join the activities but do not fully understand Japanese. Don’t worry, I will introduce all the recommended activities to you in English on this page. Then I hope you would enjoy this year’s activities below and remember our slogon, The Unexpected Is Waiting For You!
