Third Extension of Suspension Period for Preventative Measures Against Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) regarding Events Organized by the University

Dear Faculty and Staff,
As informed previously, the university laid out the preventative measures for the spread of the novel coronavirus pertaining to events organized by the university, including those by faculty and staff. Any event or gathering that falls under the following should be cancelled or postponed.
- Events with a large number of participants (i.e. 30 people or above)
- Events where many senior citizens are expected to attend
- Events that involve close physical contact between participants
- Social gatherings, including zemi-gasshuku (training camps)
Considering that the situation has not subsided and its prospects are expected to continue to be unpredictable for the time being, the university has decided to re-extend the suspension period to August 1.
Please take the necessary precautions to protect yourself and the people around you from contracting the coronavirus.
