According to the QS Graduate Employability Rankings 2019 published on September 11, Waseda ranked world’s 27th place this year, making it again the top private university in Japan.
The ranking is calculated from measures of reputation among employers, alumni outcomes, and partnerships with employers, employers’ presence on campus and graduate employment rates. The result shows Waseda’s success in relationships with employers in research and other projects, as well as the exceptional performance of its graduates.
Waseda is the top private university in Japan for graduate employability for the fourth year in a row. Measuring the success of Waseda graduates, the rankings are also an objective evaluation of the various efforts made by the University following the Waseda Vision 150 strategic plan. One of the plan’s major goals is to foster global leaders. Specifically, the University aims to double the number of international students to 10,000 and have all of its students study abroad before graduation. To educate and guide the leaders of tomorrow, Waseda University is dedicated to making innovative reforms as a leading university in Asia.
