How to support students affected by the recent torrential rain and its relief efforts

The Waseda community is greatly saddened by the devastating impact of the floods and landslides, triggered by the historic levels of torrential rain centered in western Japan. We would like to extend our deepest sympathies to all those affected.

Waseda University is currently collecting donations to provide financial assistance for affected students and to support relief efforts (which include volunteer activities by students, faculty and staff). The donations will be accepted through the Waseda Supporters Club. To find out whether your donation will be tax-deductible, contact your local tax office.

To those who are interested in making a donation to support affected students and relief efforts

We pray for the safety and speedy recovery of the affected areas.
