Waseda University’s Faculty of Sport Sciences has a departmental agreement with German Sport University Cologne and aims to advance the international partnership between the two through the Health Promotion: The Joy of Sports and Exercise model unit. This is one of the six units of the Waseda Goes Global Plan, selected for funding by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT)’s Top Global University Project.

This being his first visit to Waseda, President Strüder met with Vice President for International Affairs Norimasa Morita, Vice President for Promotion of Sports and Olympic/Paralympic Projects Isao Muraoka, Senior Dean of the Faculty of Sport Sciences Hidenori Tomozoe and others for an unofficial meeting.
