Please come visit!

The “Painting with the Five Colors – Painting with Red” exhibition which was on display in the Tomioka Memorial Exhibition Room before the museum was closed earlier this month is on display once again.

Attendees can enjoy precious works from various artists including the noted and multitalented Rosanjin Kitaoji. Exhibitions generally keep works behind glass but in this exhibition  there are pieces that you can actually sit on. One piece with goldfish hidden in every nook and cranny is viewable from 360 degrees.  Try to find out how many there are for yourself but please do not touch!

The exhibition will be on display from September 1-18.

Please note that the museum will be closed on September 5 and 12, Sundays, and public holidays.
