75,119 people participated in the International Community Center (ICC)’s cross-cultural events from 2006 to 2013.
The large number of exchange students accepted to and sent from Waseda University is testament to the University’s globalization efforts. Initiatives to make Waseda the top global university and create an international campus are carried out daily by the ICC which was established to promote cross-cultural exchange in July 2006. The ICC is working to create an environment that allows students to overcome national borders and nationality, and develop a cultural understanding of people from around the world.
