Bill Baker is a Distinguished Research Professor and Board of Trustees Professor at Northern Illinois University, who specializes in 19th-century British Literature and Bibliography. His recent books include: Studies in Victorian and Modern Literature: A Tribute to John Sutherland (2015), Tom Stoppard: A Bibliographical History (2010), and Leonard Merrick: A Forgotten Novelist’s Novelist (2009). He is also editor of the letters of George Henry Lewes and Wilkie Collins.
