Faculty from six departments recognized for education excellence at 2015 Teaching Award ceremony
Wed, Feb 10, 2016On February 3, Waseda University held its 2015 Teaching Award ceremony at Okuma Kaikan on Waseda Campus.
Since 2014, the Waseda Teaching Award has been recognizing faculty who demonstrate educational excellence as part of the University’s ongoing efforts to improve the quality of education and produce creative teaching methods. Recipients for spring 2016 are the School of Political Science and Economics, the School of Fundamental Science and Engineering, the School of Advanced Science and Engineering, the Waseda Business School, the Graduate School of Japanese Applied Linguistics, and the Global Education Center.
At the ceremony, University President Kamata also conferred awards to recipients of the President’s Teaching Awards.
The Teaching Award ceremony was held together with the Waseda Research Award Ceremony.
