The Aizu Museum is currently hosting its fall exhibition on Nara and the historical Hiyoshikan ryokan (Japanese style inn).
The Hiyoshikan was the number one choice for lodging in Nara among writers, painters, sculptors, historians, and architects. Waseda received a donation of Hiyoshikan materials in both 2010 and 2014. These cultural treasures include works of calligraphy and lodge registers.
The exhibition will be available on the first floor of the Aizu Museum until November 28. Please stop by when you have time.
