Concept:

Sea Glass Tree
By Design unit C.L.A.D. (Art and Architecture School OB) feat. Takashi Ishida

Fragments of glass drifting along the vast ocean to ocean shores…..fragments of glass cradled and refined by the ocean…..fragments of glass like no other.

Inspired by the Waseda Ocean initiative for the Top Global University Project, this large tree represents scholarship that goes beyond national borders and brings people together, and is testament to the growth of an academic ocean free of physical barriers.
