Did you experience Waseda culture?

Waseda held its “Museum Week 2015” event at Waseda campus on June 8-12.

Waseda University is home to a number of museums and archives where visitors can experience the “culture” of Waseda. These include the Tsubouchi Memorial Theatre Museum, the only museum of its kind in Japan, the Aizu Museum which is home to many works of art and documents from antiquity, and the Waseda University Archives which houses documents tracing the university’s history.

At the “Waseda University Museum Tour,” first time visitors and regulars alike listened intently as museum curators provided commentary on various cultural works and documents. Visitors got a taste of Waseda culture by coming into contact with these precious items.
