教育社会学と国際高等教育：東アジアにおける知識外交、大学の戦略、地域協力
グローバルな知識をめぐる関係の政治とガバナンスを研究しています。地政学的変化のなかで、大学や研究者が協力・競争・不平等にどのように向き合うのかに着目し、地政学的緊張、権力の非対称性、各機関の利害が、国境を越えた知識の生産と流通に及ぼす影響を検討しています。
現在、日本学術振興会の科学研究費助成事業による研究プロジェクトでは、地政学的緊張や研究セキュリティへの懸念が高まるなか、中国・日本・韓国の大学が知識外交を通じて協力関係をいかに維持するかを探究しています。関連する研究では、高等教育の国際化、学生・研究者の国際移動、人材政策を対象に、大学などの機関の戦略と、個人が自身の経験をどのように意味づけるかに注目しています。
